Wisconsin Hazelnut Field Day – August 30

The University of Wisconsin Extension and Mark Shepard and his family invite you to the 2013 Wisconsin Hazelnut Field Day scheduled for Friday, August 30 from 1-4 pm at New Forest Farm in Viola, Wisconsin.  New Forest has the largest hazelnut planting in Wisconsin.  Attendees will tour mature hazelnut and permaculture plantings, see new generation hazelnut processing equipment, and learn about hazelnut establishment and ongoing breeding work.
