4-H Rock Climbing

Sunday, October 7th, 1pm-6pm

4-H Youth Rock Climbing at Bob’s Rock, near Grand View

For 4th graders and up, open to all local youth

Meet at and return to the Ashland County Courthouse – some transportation is available.

Limit 12 participants.

Registration required, to sign-up call the Ashland County UW-Extension office at 715-682-7017.

Rain day is Sunday, October 14.  Wear closed toe shoes to climb, bring water bottle and bug spray.


Bob’s Rock is a 60 foot rock face which is well set up for teaching, no experience necessary, climbs will be set up for beginners and for those with experience.  Kids will need comfortable weather appropriate clothes and closed toe shoes with laces, a water bottle and any snacks they need, extra clothes for changes in weather, and the permission slip. We’ll provide helmets, ropes, instructors, rock and great views from the top.
